For making it, you will need 3 lbs chicken pieces, 3 potatoes, 3 sliced carrots, 3 sliced ribs celery, 1/2 cup chopped onions, 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce, 3 1/2 cups chicken broth and salt (according to your taste)

Put all the ingredients in a crock-pot, cover it and cook for 4 hours on low. Take out the chicken and remove meat from the bones. Keep the chicken meat again to the crock-pot, cover it and cook the soup for another 4 to 5 hours till the vegetables are soft.

Stir the soup intermittently and add some water if required. Adjust the seasoning and serve hot. You can also serve with it a piece of a crusty bread and butter.
